Francisco Paulo Jamil Almeida Marques (PhD in Communication Studies) works at the Federal University of Ceará, Brazil, where he teaches courses and conducts research on the political use of the Internet. In 2006, he was a Visiting Scholar at Saint Louis University (Department of Philosophy). Over the last years his interests have focused on Internet, Political Representation and Participation.
